The media’s obsession with taking down Donald Trump

In my last column released before the debate, I predicted that you would see a large amount of Trump bashing take place. Sure enough, Fox News decided to launch an all-out assault on the real estate mogul and tried to exalt the GOP establishment candidates. Almost every question that they asked Trump was slanted and orchestrated to make him look bad. It also took Fox News over 40 minutes to ask Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) a single question.

It is apparent to me that there was one objective in this debate, and it was to take down Donald Trump.

Soon after the debates, the mainstream media decided to once again attempt to spread falsehoods about Trump, by portraying him as being a closet pro-choice advocate, when this is just blatantly false.

Trump recently talked about defunding Planned Parenthood and said that they claim to offer services to benefit women’s health issues; however (while he believes that abortion may be a small percentage of their services), he stated that Congress should develop legislation to prevent any organization that offers abortions from receiving federal funding.

“The problem that I have with Planned Parenthood is the abortion situation; it is like an abortion factory, frankly, and you can’t have it,” Trump told CNN’s Chris Cuomo. “And you just shouldn’t be funding it. That should not be funded by the government, and I feel strongly about that….”

During the same day, Trump said in an interview with Sean Hannity what he would do if he faced legislation to defund Planned Parenthood.

“Maybe unless they stop with the abortions, we don’t do the funding. There are many ways to do that, because I’m totally against the abortion aspect,” he told Hannity.

What Trump said was not in advocacy of the organization. He said that the organization uses “all of the good that they do” to obtain federal funding and justify abortion.

In this interview, Trump called for a massive pro-life bill, prohibiting any organization that offers abortions from receiving federal funding. He basically stated that if Planned Parenthood is going to claim to be a women’s health organization, they need to cease their practice of abortion if they want to continue receiving Americans’ tax dollars.

This would mean that Trump’s plan would force Planned Parenthood to completely stop providing abortionspulling the largest abortion provider out of the abortion industry.

Trump is brilliant, and genuinely knows how to get what he wants.
